
Will is a master’s student in the Environmental and Sustainability Studies (EVSS) Program who joined the lab in 2025. He graduated with a BS in Environmental Science from Assumption University in 2024. He also studied at the Duke University Marine Laboratory for a semester as a post-baccalaureate prior to deciding to come to the College for graduate studies. Will’s research interests are broadly in wildlife conservation, with a focus on understanding how ecological factors shape population and community dynamics to inform conservation strategies. His thesis research is focused on evaluating the importance of soil moisture and prescribed fire for supporting the survival, growth, and reproduction of reintroduced Canby’s dropwort (Tiedemannia canbyi) populations.
