Emmy was an undergraduate research in the lab who double majored in marine biology and philosophy. She graduated in the spring of 2021 after completing her honors thesis on the global biodiversity of sharks. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Flordia where she is working with Dr. Rob Guralnick and Dr. Gavin Naylor on species distribution modeling of marine organisms.
