Juliane is currently a scientist at South Florida Water Management District
She joined the lab in the fall of 2018 and graduated with her master’s from the GPMB program in 2020. She attended Coastal Carolina University for undergrad where she majored in marine science with minors in biology and applied mathematics. During undergraduate she also interned with the fisheries independent monitoring group at Florida Fish and Wildlife and the fish ecology group at the Southeast Fisheries Science Center. Her research interests include fisheries independent monitoring programs and fisheries ecology. Her thesis used fisheries data to test theoretical models about biodiversity and ecosystem stability relationships over different spatial scales.
